Pastor Jerry Bennett
A native Texan with a deep love for people, the outdoors, and Jesus, Jerry often says his story looks less like a polished testimony and more like a grace-filled journey marked by God’s faithfulness. He is a devoted husband to his wife, Hope, a dad in a lively blended family of ten, finds joy in hanging out with his wife Hope, chasing big trout on the coast with his friends, playing cowboy on the property the Lord has blessed him with, and meaningful conversations around the table.
After years of searching for identity and purpose through success and stumbles, Jerry encountered Jesus in an unexpected way—through a simple conversation at the gym—and his life was forever changed. That encounter reshaped not only his heart, but his calling. When God stirred Jerry and Hope during the 2020 shutdown, they stepped out in faith, bringing together years of ministry and professional experience to serve their local community. What began as a “what if?” moment while driving past a vineyard became 7 Creeks Church—a growing church family committed to biblical connection, intentional discipleship, and living out faith with authenticity and grace.
Today, Jerry’s greatest joy is walking alongside people wherever they are on their spiritual journey, helping them discover Jesus and grow in a deeper relationship with Him.
